Undertow Eyes
SYNOPSIS
Short film | 20’ | Color | 35mm/DCP | Brazil | 2009
Vera and Gabriel have been married for sixty years. In Undertow Eyes, they reflect on their shared life: early flirtations, the birth of their children, the passage of time, and the experience of aging. As memories unfold, home movies blur into present-day footage, weaving a tender, dreamlike universe. Through impressions and intimate recollections, the film evokes a personal and existential diary — a meditation on love, time, and death.
